Compassionate Therapy to Help you Heal and Thrive

I believe access to thoughtful, compassionate mental health care should be something people can actually reach not something reserved for a few.

About CARON

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and EMDR-trained therapist. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Counseling. But more than credentials, what I bring into the room is presence.
I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, identity development, substance use concerns, and life transitions. I work with individuals ages 10 and up, and my approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply relational.I use evidence-based approaches, including EMDR and trauma-informed practices, but therapy with me never feels clinical or cold. It feels like conversation, exploration, and sometimes — gentle challenge.

I chose to become a therapist because…I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone is truly heard and understood. Growing up and moving through different spaces, I often noticed how few people had access to mental health support that reflected their experiences, identities, or cultural realities. Too many people are left to carry pain, trauma, and questions about themselves alone, simply because the systems around them were never designed with them in mind. That realization stayed with me.
I became a therapist because I believe access to thoughtful, compassionate mental health care should be something people can actually reach not something reserved for a few. I wanted to be part of creating spaces where people feel represented, respected, and safe enough to explore who they are and what they need. Being a therapist allows me to walk alongside people as they make sense of their stories, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward the most authentic and fulfilling versions of themselves.
